Headhunters Discovered in Asia A headhunting partnership between U.S. recruiter BC Management (BCM) and Asia's Forbes Calamity Prevention (FCP) placed its first candidate as BCP Manager at the Taiwan headquarters of a global insurance company.
BCM specializes in business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management, risk management, and information security careers. FCP focuses on Asia from its Singapore office, covering the booming business centers of India, China, Singapore and Hong Kong. The companies have 20 years of satisfied clients between them.

The U.S. National Oceanographic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Pacific Tsunami Warning Center sends email warnings about earthquakes in the Pacific Rim that might cause tsunamis. The alerts are free, quick and can be particularly valuable to emergency response authorities.
You can see exactly where the earthquakes are quickly and simply, and in stunning detail, in Google Earth. Download and install Google Earth (15 megabytes) onto your computer. It's free. And sign up to receive the PTWC alerts by email. Then wait for an alert message to show up in your mailbox.
Inside each alert you'll find data for these parameters:
ORIGIN TIME - 0540Z 26 JUL 2007 MAGNITUDE - 7.0
Just cut-and-paste the latitude and longitude coordinates - 2.7 NORTH 127.5 EAST - into the search box in the upper left corner of the Google Earth screen, labeled "Fly To" in this screen shot. Then delete characters so that "2.7 NORTH" becomes "2.7 N" and "127.5 EAST" becomes "127.5 E". No comma or other punctuation is needed. The press the ENTER key.
Google Earth will take you to the exact location. It is just cool to watch the image of earth spin to focus on the latitude and longitude you enter. If the view becomes too close for a useful perspective, click on the "-" icon in the navigation controls that appear in the upper right of the screen to zoom out as far as you want. Motoring Mumbai If you've been to Mumbai (Bombay) India, home to 25 million people and 50,000 taxicabs, you know that parking is a problem. But in Bombay Taxi, you can have the vicarious thrill of driving a cab - and being yelled at - without all those irritating consequences like injuries, corrupt policemen and financial liability.
