Forbes Calamity Prevention (FCP) will help InterCall Asia Pacific prepare a regional BCP. The privately-owned U.S. company provides audio- and web-conferencing services worldwide. InterCall recently opened facilities in Hong Kong, Australia and Singapore. It has very short Recovery Time Objectives (RTO’s) for its telecom “bridges”, which automatically set up and manage customer conferences and presentations.

Schroder Investment Management Singapore conducted its annual BCP exercise on a recent Saturday morning. Almost half the staff used their recovery facility in Bedok to prove that they could recover their award-winning fund management business within a few hours. The U.K. asset manager’s Singapore office has had a full BCP for four (4) years.
