BCP Asia will announce winners of the first Asia Business Continuity Awards on 30 October in Singapore. Asian companies and the Asia offices of non-Asian companies are eligible. One nominated company will be recognized for excellence in its business continuity program. A "Business Continuity Manager of the Year" in Asia will also be honored, and one old soul will receive a "Lifetime Achievement" award. And there are three (3) categories for vendors: recovery sites, records storage, and BCP-related software. Want to win? Submit this ABCA entry form. You have 2,000 words to state your case, and need USD $100 to nominate a person, or USD $500 to nominate a company. The judges include Lyndon Bird (U.K.), Jane White (U.K.) and John Worthington (Australia). A U.S. judge will be added to the panel soon.
